Ansiklopedi, internet, yapay zekâ derken toplumda herhangi bir konuda kesin bilgiye ulaşmadan “kanaat sahibi” olabilen zeki/akıllı/kerameti kendinden menkul(!) insanlar oldukça arttı.
Bakıyorsunuz bu tip insanlar alakalı-alakasız konularda rahatlıkla ve dakikalarca kanaatlerini ishal olmuş bir ağızla ifade etmekten kaçınmıyorlar.
Oysa insan en çok ağzından çıkan kelime ve cümlelere, yani söze dikkat etmeli!
Ağızdan çıkan bumerang gibidir, ya hedefini bulur oraya yerleşir, ya da yersiz, hedefsiz, temelsiz ise döner sahibini en gafil anında vurur.
Kesin bilgi sahibi olmadığı bir konuda insanlar dudaklarını mühürlemeli.
Emin olmadığı bir konuda “kanaatimce” kelimesiyle söze asla başlamamalı.
Bir konuda kanaat olmaz.
O konuyu ya biliyorsunuz ya da bilmiyorsunuzdur.
Kanaat ifadesi dilimizde kullanılan “hiç mi yok?” ile aynıdır.
Bir şey yoksa yoktur.
“Hiç mi yok?” sorusu yersizdir.
Bir konuda kesin bilgiye sahipseniz, konuşun.
Bilmiyorsanız “kanaatim bu yönde” yaklaşımı sizi dünya ve ahirette ateşe götürür.
Allah Teâla, kullarına “bilgi sahibi” olmadıkları konularda asla “kanaatim bu yönde” tarzında konuşmamaları konusunda şu uyarıyı yapıyor:
“Hakkında kesin bilgi sahibi olmadığın şeyin peşine düşme! Çünkü kulak, göz ve kalp, bunların hepsi ondan (o peşine düştüğün şeyden) sorumlu tutulacaktır.” İsra, 17/36.
Hakkında “kanaatimi ifade ettiğim” konu küçük bir meseledir, ne olacak diyenlere de Allah cevap veriyor:
“(Bütün amellerin kaydedildiği) kitap ortaya getirilir. Suçluları, kitabın (Sabit Diskin) içindekilerden dolayı korkuya kapılmış görürsün. Bir yandan da: “Vay başımıza gelenlere! Ne biçim kitapmış bu; küçük büyük hiçbir davranışımızı atlamamış” derler. Onlar (bütün) yaptıklarını (en ince detayına kadar önlerinde) hazır bulurlar. Rabbin hiç kimseye zulmetmez.” Kehf, 18/49.
“Bilgi Süzgeci” ismini verdiğim formülü “sözün namusunu önemseyenler” için şiddetle öneriyorum.

Sözü sağlam olanın dini de sağlamdır.
Sözü çürük olanın, dini de, insanlığı da, işi de; kısaca her şeyi çürüktür.
“Opinion” or “Knowledge”?
With the advent of encyclopedias, the internet, and artificial intelligence, there has been a surge in the number of people—clever, intelligent, or simply self-styled experts—who form "opinions" on any given subject without ever accessing definitive information.
You see such individuals freely holding forth for minutes on end—spewing words uncontrollably—about matters whether relevant or not.
Yet, one ought to be most careful with the words and sentences that leave one's lips—with speech itself!
Words spoken are like a boomerang: they either find their mark and take hold, or—if misplaced, aimless, or baseless—they return to strike the speaker at their most unguarded moment.
People should seal their lips regarding matters on which they lack definitive knowledge.
One should never preface a statement with "in my opinion" when one is not certain.
There is no such thing as an "opinion" on a subject.
You either know the subject, or you do not.
The expression of an "opinion" is akin to the question, "Is there absolutely nothing?"
If something does not exist, it simply does not exist.
The question "Is there absolutely nothing?" is pointless.
Speak only if you possess certain knowledge about a matter.
If you do not know, adopting an approach of "this is my opinion" will lead you to the fire—both in this world and the Hereafter.
Allah the Almighty issues this warning to His servants against speaking—in terms of "this is my opinion"—about matters regarding which they lack knowledge:
"Do not pursue that of which you have no certain knowledge! For the hearing, the sight, and the heart—all of them will be held accountable for it (that which you pursued)." (Al-Isra, 17/36)
Allah also answers those who say, "The matter regarding which I expressed my opinion is trivial; what harm could there be?":
"The Book (in which all deeds are recorded) is laid out. You see the guilty filled with fear because of what is in the Book (the Hard Drive). They say: 'Woe to us! What kind of Book is this? It has not omitted a single action of ours, whether small or great.' They find (all) their deeds present (before them, down to the finest detail). Your Lord wrongs no one." (Al-Kahf, 18/49)
I strongly recommend the formula I call the "Knowledge Filter" to those who value the integrity of their words.

Read three times,
Listen twice,
Write once,
Speak occasionally (Step 7),
Share from time to time (Step 8: social media).

He whose word is sound, his faith is sound.
He whose word is unsound—his faith, his humanity, his work; in short, everything about him—is unsound.
