Mekke’nin fethi ile Kâbe’nin içindeki putların kırılıp temizlendiği gibi;
İnananın öncelikle kendini fethetmesi ile…
İçindeki putları kesip, hatta kazıyıp temizlediği gündür.
“Kur’an gaflette olanlara kar’ul asadır” der Said Nursi “âlimlerin reçetesi” adını verdiği usul kitabı Muhakemat’ta.
Yani firavunun sihirbazlarının sihirlerini yiyen Hz. Musa’nın asasıdır Kur’an.
Hz. Muhammed’in asası ve ahlakı olan Yüce kitabımız Kur’an;
6236 ayetiyle gerçekten samimi olarak muhatap olan inananın içini bütün putlardan yıkar temizler.
“Biz Kur’an’dan, inananlar için şifa ve rahmet olacak şeyler indiriyoruz. O (Kur’an, inatları yüzünden), zalimlerin ancak yıkımını artırıyor.” İsra, 17/82.
6236 ayetiyle aynı zamanda “Peygamber Ahlakı” olan Kur’an’ın ilkeleriyle bağdaşmayan her alışkanlık, davranış ve düşünce puttur ve kırılması gerekir.
Bir inanan mihenk olarak iman ettiği Kur’an’ın tezgâhında -özellikle Kurban günlerinde (Zilhicce ilk 10 gün)- kendi muhasebesini yapmalı ve onun denetiminden geçmeyen her şeyi gözünü kırpmadan “kurban” etmelidir.
Kurban sadece basit bir kan akıtma olayı değil; insanın içini budama, yıkama hatta körüklü ateşle kalaylama günüdür.
Öyle hatalar ve yanlışlar olur ki;
Onu su ile temizleyemezsiniz ve kalaycıların yaptığı üzere körüklü ateşe başvurmak zorunda kalırsınız.
Bu işleri burada yapmaz da öbür tarafa bırakırsanız vaziyet çok çetindir.
Kur’an’da Yüce Allah bu konuda biraz kafası çalışan insanları binlerce kez uyarır.
“Ben sizi esmamı yansıtmanız için tertemiz bir ayna olarak yarattım. Aynanızı temiz tutun, kirletirseniz tevbe suyuyla, olay suyu aşmışsa tevbe ateşiyle temizleyin, işi cehenneme bırakmayın” der.
“Okuduğunuz her kitap içinizdeki donmuş değerleri parçalayan bir balta olmalıdır” cümlesiyle okumanın maksadını açıklar Franz Kafka.
İçimizdeki putlardan, donmuş değerlerden, doğru bildiğimiz yanlış gelenekleri “Allah En Büyüktür” tekbirleri eşliğinde kurtulduğumuz bir kurban bayramı diliyorum.

What About the Idols Within Us?
Sacrifice…
Just as the idols inside the Kaaba were broken and cleansed with the conquest of Mecca;
It is the day when the believer first conquers himself…
He cuts down, even scrapes away and cleanses the idols within himself. Said Nursi says, “The Quran is a staff for those who are heedless,” in his book of principles, Muhakemat, which he calls “the prescription of scholars.” In other words, the Quran is the staff of Moses that devoured the magic of Pharaoh’s sorcerers.
Our sublime book, the Quran, which is the staff and morality of Prophet Muhammad;
With its 6236 verses, it cleanses the heart of the believer who truly and sincerely engages with it from all idols. “We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy for those who believe. But it only increases the destruction of the wrongdoers.” Isra, 17/82.
Verse 6236 states that any habit, behavior, or thought that is incompatible with the principles of the Quran, which also constitutes "Prophet's Morality," is an idol and must be broken.
A believer should examine their own conscience against the Quran, the touchstone of their faith—especially during the days of sacrifice (the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah)—and sacrifice without hesitation anything that does not pass its scrutiny. Sacrifice is not merely a simple act of shedding blood; it is a day for purifying, cleansing, and even polishing the inner self with bellows.
There are mistakes and errors that you cannot cleanse with water, and you are forced to resort to bellows, as the tinners do.
If you do not do these things here and leave them for the hereafter, the situation is very difficult.
In the Quran, Almighty God warns those who have even a little common sense about this thousands of times. He says, "I created you as a pure mirror to reflect My names. Keep your mirror clean; if you soil it, cleanse it with the water of repentance, and if the matter goes beyond water, cleanse it with the fire of repentance; do not leave the matter to hell."
Franz Kafka explains the purpose of reading with the sentence, "Every book you read should be an axe that shatters the frozen values within you."
I wish you a blessed Eid al-Adha, where we free ourselves from the idols within us, the frozen values, and the false traditions we believe to be right, all while proclaiming "Allah is the Greatest."
