Gerçek güç kişinin dış dünyadan önce iç dünyasında “çelikten bir irade” ile kendine hâkim olmasıdır.
Gerçek güç olan kendine hâkim olmak demek;
Peygamberimiz Hz. Muhammed (s.a.v.)’in küçük cihaddan (savaş) büyük cihada (nefisle mücadele) dönüyoruz” hadisi gerçek gücün insanın “çelikten bir irade ile” kendine hâkim olarak bir ömür sıratu’l müstakim üzere olmaya çalışmasıdır.
Modern ve postmodern dönemlerinin insanı kendinden, bağlamından, yaratılış hikmetinden koparmaya çalışarak sürekli “dışarı, dışarı” tezahüratları eşliğinde yaptığı yoğun çalışmalara karşı insan en az %51 kendi kovanında kalmalı ve çelikten iradesini besleyecek özgün balını üretmelidir.
3 okuyarak, 2 dinleyerek biriktirdiği hikmet özlerini kendi kovanında tezekkür, tefekkür, taakkul, tedebbür, tevekkül ve teşekkürler işleyerek yaptığı özgün balını da 1 yazarak ve yazdığı olmuşsa bazen konuşarak, ara sıra paylaşarak önce Allah’a sonra yaratılmışların dikkatine sunmalıdır.
İnsan kâinatın özüdür.
Dolaysıyla kâinatın bütün güzelliklerine insanın içerisinden bir yol açılmıştır.
Kendine yoğunlaşmayan bu güzelliklere açılan yolları keşfedemez.
İnsan aradığı her şeyi önce içerisinde bulamadığı sürece dışarıda gördüklerinin bir seraptan ibaret olacağını unutmamalıdır.
(Felsefika, Markus Tiedeman, 176.)
What Is True Power?
True power lies in a person mastering themselves—with a "will of steel"—before attempting to master the external world.
This true power—self-mastery—means striving to maintain oneself:
At the level of *chastity* (regarding the faculty of desire), avoiding both unbridled indulgence and total apathy;
At the level of *courage* (regarding the faculty of anger), avoiding both recklessness and cowardice;
And at the level of *wisdom* (regarding the faculty of reason), avoiding both sophistry and dull-wittedness.
Indeed, living life within these three balanced states—wisdom, chastity, and courage—is precisely what we refer to as the "Straight Path" (*Sirat al-Mustaqim*), which we ask to follow forty times a day.
The Hadith of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)—"We are returning from the lesser jihad (war) to the greater jihad (the struggle against the self)"—illustrates that true power is the lifelong endeavor to remain upon the Straight Path by mastering oneself with a "will of steel."
In the face of the intense efforts of the modern and postmodern eras—which seek to sever the individual from their self, their context, and the wisdom of their creation while constantly chanting "outward, outward"—one must remain within one's own "hive" (at least 51% of the time) and produce the unique honey that nourishes that will of steel.
One must process the essences of wisdom—gathered through three parts reading and two parts listening—within the hive of one’s own being by means of reflection, contemplation, reasoning, deep thought, trust in the Divine, and gratitude; then, by writing (and occasionally speaking or sharing what has been written), one should present this unique honey first to Allah and then to the attention of His creation.
Human beings are the essence of the universe.
Consequently, a path leading to all the beauties of the universe has been opened from within the human being.
One who does not focus inward cannot discover the paths that lead to these beauties.
One must not forget that, unless a person first finds within themselves everything they seek, whatever they see in the outside world will amount to nothing more than a mirage.
True freedom, happiness, and productivity for a human being are all made possible by focusing on one’s own inner world.
The most painful form of estrangement is becoming alienated from oneself.
“Reflect on power. To have power over oneself is freedom; to have power over others is wretchedness.” (Felsefika, Markus Tiedemann, 176.)
